Wunderflats is a platform for fully furnished mid-term rentals, making renting easy for both landlords and tenants.
As an active landlord, I’ve experienced major usability issues: clunky navigation, manual inventory tracking, and no clear performance insights.
To fix this, I reached out to the product team and, within two weeks, created wireframes, high-fidelity designs, and a fully interactive prototype to show my vision for a better experience.

The current Home screen gives me very little. It feels like it's there just for the sake of being there.
As a landlord, I need to see KPI's, I need to have an overview of my properties and easily navigate through them, I need my bottom navigation simple, clean and getting me from A to B as quick as possible. That is exactly what I've done in my redesign of the Home screen.

You’re a landlord trying to check invoices, but instead of clear menu options, you’re faced with a wall of plain text. Everything is the same size, same font, no icons, no hierarchy, no visual cues.

I addressed this issue by rearranging items based on usage frequency, added icons for instant recognition, and made each item into a button for better accessibility.

The Listing screen is key for landlords, where they need all tools to effectively manage their property.
After analyzing user behavior, I found that booking requests should appear first, as they drive income. Key info like number of guests, pets, and kids should be visible upfront, followed by performance data to help landlords assess if their property setup is attracting bookings.

Here I've encountered a shared problem with the Dashboard Menu. Too much plain text, but at least it's sectioned.
I've rearranged the items based on use frequency, added important missing features, and assigned icons for instant recognition.

The current feature is very limiting. You have to log in every time you want to adjust pricing and manually update each rate, making the process slow and inefficient.
Why not take something that's worked for a competitor (Housing Anywhere) and apply to your platform?
Advanced Pricing feature has proven itself to be highly effective, allowing the landlords set different prices for different months depending on seasonality.

Now you can check tenants in and out digitally. Inventory and damage lists are easier than ever, just snap photos for quick references.
